Sean McHale with Saint Michaels Home Care is back, and he gives us advice on when to know when your loved one is ready for home health care. Is your loved one no longer attending social gatherings with friends or engaging in hobbies they previously loved like reading or crossword puzzles? These could be signs that they are declining, and it may be beneficial to bring in someone for medical or housekeeping help. Consider involving your loved one, whether it is a spouse or parent, in the home healthcare interview process. He also says it’s very important for all the family members to be on the same page and for there to be one point person for the home health care agency.
