Episode 27 Halle and Shannon, Britt and Emily, and Donna Lueders

For the month of March, we are focused on Dementia! For resources, please visit www.emilyhickslaw.com.dementia.

We are so excited to have Donna Lueders on the show today talking all about Medicare and what you need to know about not only what traditional Medicare covers but the additional “parts” alphabet that can be added to individual plans. It can be very confusing for our senior population, but Donna can answer your questions!

To learn more, email Donna at donnalueders65@gmail.com OR call her at 904-669-1534

Halle and Shannon join the show to talk about REVAMP, which stands for Registry for Endangered, Vulnerable, and Missing Persons here in Duval County. Did you know that 2-3 people go “missing” every day in Duval county? The registry is for those with cognitive disabilities like dementia or autism and allows loved ones to add them to the registry to aid in searching for them if they are ever missing or “wander” off. This is an amazing service that Halle has worked so hard on!

If you would like to learn more, please visit www.jaxready.com/revamp or call their office at 904-255-3172

Brittany and Emily talk about POA’s! Why are they so important, especially if you are caring for someone with dementia? What can the agent do? It can be a scary document to sign, but we’re answering all your questions today!
